Kimberly Michael
After spending thirteen years as Director at various large corporate for-profit centers,
Kimberly Michael has found her two years at the non-profit Baltimore American Indian
Center to be a rewarding and challenging experience. During that time, Ms. Michael has
secured three grants from MSDE for improvements to the center, including major renovations
such as new windows, doors, floors, toys, and computers with safe broadband Internet access for
the children. Upcoming projects include securing a grant for a new playground and
attaining accreditation from the State of Maryland. Ms. Michael has a Degree in Early
Childhood Education as well as certifications in medical training, CPR and First Aid, and
has directed Infant and Toddler care, Preschool and Before-and-After school programs.

Peter DeRosa
Mr Peter DeRosa comes to us from the SECO HeadStart where he was employed
for 13 years. Mr. Derosa has a BA in Liberal Arts from St Vincent College
and a MA in Social Work from University of Maryland . He also has child care
Certification and CPR and 1st Aid. Mr. Derosa has worked with all age levels
from preschool to high school and is in our 4/5 year old room.

Crystal Weaver
Ms. Weaver has her Daycare Certification from Howard County Community College. She is also
CPR and First Aid Trained. Ms. Weaver has been with our preschool for sixteen months and a
preschool teacher for twelve years. She is a teacher of 3 and 4 year olds.

Crystal Jones
Ms. Crystal Jones is a Native Lumbee Indian and she joins us this year in
our new infant and toddler room. She has her 90 hour Maryland Child Care
Certificate and CPR and 1st Aid and will begin her infant and toddler
certification in the fall of 2008. Ms. Jones also has a beautiful 10 year
old daughter

Keri Locklear
Keri Locklear is a Native Lumbee Indian and has volunteered at the school
for the last 3 years. She has joined us this year in our new infant and
toddler room. She has her 90 hour Maryland Child Care Certification and CPR
and 1st Aid. Ms. Locklear has enrolled in the Infant and Toddler course for
the fall.

Alesha Eisenhuth
Ms. Eisenhuth received her Daycare certification from BCCC. She is also certified in First
Aid and CPR and has been with our center for five years. Ms. Eisenhuth is a Lumbee Native
and has one child.

Ayanna Sanders
Ms. Sanders comes to the Center with over 10
years experience in the field of childcare. In addition to CPR and first
aid, and her certification, she is continuing her professional education at
the Baltimore City Resource Center. Ms. Sanders is also involved in the CASA
Program as a child advocate.
